Being an Engineer requires lots of thinking and problem solving. Watching my father work, an engineer himself, I see that it requires determination, creative thinking, and exceptional problem solving.
I want to become an engineer because i would like to follow in my grandfather and my dad's footsteps as they were both engineers, except i take on a more unique one other than an airplane engineer as they were. I have always been fascinated with building and designing things, even when i was just a toddler. Someday designing and creating my own engineering marvel will make me very proud seeing as it was done under my ideas.
I have been inspired by many great works that multiple famous engineers have done, including my father. He is like a role model to me and always answers my questions about what they actually do. They are sort of the underdogs of Engineers but are some of the most important, creating infrastructures for the projects of others so that they have good, strong foundations that can be built upon.
I always wonder what makes things work, like how they make subways underground or how they even power them. I hope to learn someday and even help make my own new subway or bridge. Even roller-coasters are part of construction engineers jobs and i hope to create one of my very own, unique and yet very attractive design for it.
